The ET2525 – FDX transceiver
belongs to a new generation of frequency diversity transceivers,
designed on the main principle that the Digital Signal Processing
(DSP) associated with the frequency diversity is best done in target
extracting and tracking software. In this way the transceivers are
made less complex, more reliable and more cost effective. By providing
two independent video output signals, each at one of the operating
frequencies, the transceiver enables the most modern tracking integration
algorithms to be implemented, which improves detection and tracking
of small targets in the heavy sea and rain clutter.
