if approaching from the South (London), leave at Junction
23A (A50) signposted to Derby, Uttoxeter and Stoke on Trent.
At first roundabout turn right, following signs to Stoke on
Trent (A50). This leads to a second roundabout, left hand
lane needed, and turn left, still following signs for A50,
Stoke on Trent, proceed as below.
Take the A50 (now a dual carriageway)
and remain on this. The road takes you past the Uttoxeter
turning and on towards Stoke on Trent (approximately 40 minutes
drive).
Stay on A50 (ignoring signs
to City Centre). This takes you past a football stadium on
the left (marked Britannia Stadium). Shortly past this Stadium,
the A50 joins the A500. Take signs for M6 North on the A500
(also signposted to Crewe - take care here as it is very easy
to go South).
Follow A500 for approximately
2 miles. Ignore various exit slip roads until progress is
blocked by a large roundabout. Turn right (3rd exit) following
signs for Ashbourne A52 and local signs for Bucknall and railway
station.
Within 200 yards, and having
gone under a railway bridge, turn left at the roundabout.
Continue to follow Leek and Ashbourne A52 signs, also local
signs for Bucknall and railway station.
After ½ mile bear right
at traffic lights. You are now on the A52 Leek Road. Continue
to follow signs to Leek and Ashbourne, also for Bucknall.
After approximately 1 mile note
local sign 'Bucknall 1 mile' and go straight on at small roundabout,
remaining on the A52 Leek Road towards Ashbourne.
After approximately ¾
mile, and shortly after a secondhand car sales centre, the
Goodwin Group offices are seen on the left adjacent to the
main road on the corner of Ivy House Road. The offices consist
of a modern three storey brown brick building with bronzed
windows and the name 'GOODWIN INTERNATIONAL' is clearly visible.
